A magnificent carved oak door greets our guests. A grand stairwell in the entry area is enhanced with a handsome backdrop of quartersawn oak wainscoting. An elaborate brass Newell post gas/electric light perches at the base of the stairs.

There are seven columned fireplaces with intricate woodcarvings and stained and leaded glass throughout the house. Remarkably, the original electrical and gas light fixtures remain.
